1. Tour with the Vine Lake Cemetery free mobile app
In many ways, the history of the Medfield community has been hidden in the past at Vine Lake Cemetery. To help bring this history to life, the former Vine Lake Preservation Trust launched a free application available for easy linking using the button below. The app works well across platforms so you can easily access it from your desktop or on your mobile device in the field.
First, you can search for loved ones by surname and given name. The app also includes GPS navigation to each gravestone.
Next, you can also take walking tours on your mobile app. Each tour includes 12 stops, a description of the buried person, a YouTube video if available, and memories.
Last, as you search through the app, you can contribute memories, stories, and timeless photos of your loved ones. To learn more, visit our app memorial submissions page.
Link to our free mobile app to easily accomplish all three steps.

2. Take a self-guided tour with our map
Walk among the shadows with our guided self-walking map. You can tour fifty notable gravesites in our Old Section using our hand-held map, “Walk Among the Shadows.” These maps are free and available at the kiosk in the Old Section and at the Medfield Historical Society.
This map project is supported in part by a grant from the Medfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
